Love the red color- Found these in Washington at Mt. Baker . I'll need to look back at my records for the exact coordinates. The cirri A as well as along the body help us now that this is in Class Heterotadigrada. It also appears to have four adjacent claws, plates on the back, thus family echiniscus. The red color suggests it is one of these red echiniscus species: granulatus, spiniger, trisetosus, blumi, canadensis, testudo, merokensis, bigranulatus, viridissimus, or wendti
