Edit: old photo taken on slide film (who remembers film? Raise your hands) in the late 1980s at Zion National Park. I seem to remember seeing many of these green tigers there at the time. Took me awhile to confirm Zion as the location where I saw them as they were photographed on a cross-country trip from southern California to central PA and my memory for this particular photo was not real clear when I came across this unlabelled slide just recently.. Apologies for erroneously listing the location as Pennsylvania in the original posting.

A large bough came crashing down from a cloud forest tree, so we rushed to see what had come down with it.

Rancho Grande Biological Station, Henri Pittier National Park, Aragua, Venezuela.

Pupa rolled in sassafras leaf and attached to stem with silk. Pupa pinned inside insect net cage and hatched in Pennsylvania on 5/31/2021. Both male and female. Female laid many eggs on Liriodendron tulipifera foliage.
