Meadows common ,often small,sometimes pure,sometimes mixed with Sea Nymph(and commonly with some understory eelgrass).

Snorkel in the heritage Kaurna traditional tidal fish trap pool at Lady Bay, Southern limit of Normanville Beach where the sand gradually gives way to rocky shores with a diverse geological mix.Including extensive littoral zone limestone low profile reef flats, but also many other types of rock (Adelaide geosyncline granite, conglomerate,basalt, sandstone,mica etc;the coastal cliffs from here to circa Wirrina Cove are registered as geological monuments of state and probably national significance)

Fellow MLSSA snorkeler gives perspective on how shallow this versatile sea-grass species is able to thrive.Tide already rising.As we walked by along beach to snorkel out to the Star of Greece wreck about 2 hours earlier,the tide was fully out,and the leafy tips were lying flat in a few cm depth atop this low to medium relief shore-based platform reef.
