Hi, I'm Jake (they/them). Living on Kumeyaay land now so-called San Diego. Aspiring botanist and bryologist. UCSD alum. Volunteer w/ Friends of Peñasquitos Canyon. I love mosses and the little creatures that live in them. Currently surveying biweekly at Torrey Pines with Chris Wagner and crew for bryophytes and lichens.
Would love to learn more about: soil ecology, algae, nudibranchs, fungi, birds, hydrology, and geology. Always open to meeting new nature-nerd friends, so message me if you're in the area and want to walk around and look at plants and stuff.
