AKA Verreaux's skink. Very short limbs, seen late afternoon/early night moving across lawn then in gutter. Moves very snake like.

Single male, no females seen nearby. Completely unafraid. Came to within inches of foot. Photo taken with phone camera.

4 seen. 2+ male, 1+ female. I saw 4 run past at a distance. I saw two males displaying to each other and a female. 4th bird's gender not known. Photos not good. Camera old and low light, max zoom and shaky hand means blurred images. One male's call started with the beginning part of a kookaburra call, then part whipbird without ricochet, then part catbird/bowerbird call.
