On ground along driveway near garage; 215 W Maplehurst, Ferndale MI. 20 cm or more across. Mature gleba yellowish brown - Methuen 5D5. Capillitia and basidiospores gold colored in 3% KOH. Capillitia thickwalled with pits, sparingly branched with rare septae, 2.5 - 5 microm diam. Basidiospores globose 4 microm diam, smooth, without pedicel.

Somewhat sharp fungoid odor. Fungoid taste. Off white spore print. Basidiospores inamyloid, smooth, ellipsoid, 3.5 x 6-7.5 microm.
