Lepidoptera Reference Collection
It has now been nearly a year since we started to collect moths on the estate in order to identify the range of species and their relative abundance. The set specimens are then taxonomically arranged in entomological cabinets to form a reference collection. The images and associated data of identified species are entered into our naturewatch project for verification and to provide an additional record for others to access.
