Amblyopappus pusillus, please look for this plant.

I'm reading Shore Wildflowers of California, Oregon, and Washington, by Philip A. Munz, and he mentioned some species I would like to find. If anyone out there sees them, let me know. I suppose I could create a project for it, but we will see.

Family Asteraceae;

Amblyopappus pusillus

Anyone ever find this in SLO County, as told by Munz?

I'm also looking for Microseris bigelovii, most likely Cambria northward.

Keil's draft SLO Flora notes Amblyopappus pusillus as "probably no longer extant in the county". He cites a 1908 specimen from Port Harford Lighthouse, which was in Avila.

And yes, north coast for M. bigelovii. I think i've seen it along the highway shoulder in San Simeon/Hearst Castle area.
