And in washes
I haven’t seen this many wild sennas in the wild

Very cool to see the yucca moths pollinating the open flower!

Growing in the Chisos Mountains at about 7,200' in elevation.

Details: Corolla tube 8 mm, extending beyond calyx; lobes 4-5 mm (limb 10 mm wide); calyx lobes 7-8 mm. Entire plant densely hirsute with long hairs. Perennial but without woody caudex.

I found one plant is pubescent at the same limestone foothill...both foliage and stems.

But it hasn't bloomed yet.

With lake level at about 14 ft. below normal pool elevation these organisms proliferate over an area of at least several hundred sq. ft. at this locality on a slowly drying mud flat.
